Josette Sent the Sun!

The day is finally here.  The day we've been working toward since October.

The Inaugural Wind Chime Ball is tonight, and Josette sent us the sun.  Waking up today was like waking up on Christmas morning when the anticipation for the big day is finally satiated.

Thank you to all of our sponsors, supporters, basket makers, ticket buyers, well-wishers, huggers, and encouragement givers. The committee holds this event in a special place in their hearts.  We hope to host all of you in an evening that you'll never forget.

As Mary says, "The work we do is not to CURE cancer, it is to make someone's life a bit more enjoyable despite the dark cloud of cancer."  We cannot do this alone.  We are doing it with all of you.
With your help, this fundraiser is already a success.

So as we finish our final preparations for the day, know that we are all on cloud nine.  Know that we are thinking of your loved ones who are or have been fighting cancer.  Know that we are honoring Josette, thanking her for the inspiration and smiling with her in the sunshine.

:)

Peace.
